Islamic Center Of Pittsburgh

Jumaa (Friday) Prayer at ICP

Every Friday the Islamic Center of Pittsburgh holds Jumah prayer.

Prayer Area

We have a large prayer hall that hold around 450 people, with a section in the back for sisters. We have also added additional prayer space in the lower level to accommodate everyone. A Speaker system has been installed as to allow those in the lower level to take part in the Jumah and also be able to hear the Khutbah.

Wudu

We have a large restroom with a wudu area located downstairs on the wall opposite of the kitchen for the sisters and two restroom's and one wudu area located in the upstairs for the brothers.

Parking

Parking is very limited. So if you need to park close by then you will need to come early. We have a parking variance that allows you to park for free on Bigelow, Tennyson, Lyton, and Parkman (streets located around the masjid). You can either download it here and place it on the dash board of your car or you may also get a variance from inside the mesjid on the magazine rack. But printing and bringing it yourself saves you the trip back to the car.

Time

Jumah begins at 1:10 and usually last till 1:45-2:00. We also sell lunch in the Lower Level every Friday, and all proceeds benefit the center. During days of fasting, lunch will not be served.
