The teacher for female students is Ustadhah Gheed Khattab. Her message to readers is: I hold a bachelor’s degree in the science of microbiology. My studies in science opened my eyes to the wonders of creation, which led me toward the words of the Creator and a meaningful journey in Quranic learning and teaching. Along this journey, I studied Tajweed and earned advanced certification from the Ministry of Al-Awqaf and Religious Affairs in Amman, Jordan. I was later honored to receive an Ijazah in Quran recitation (narrated by Hafs from ‘Asim), as well as an Ijazah in Nuraniyah Qaeda from Al-Furqan Training Center in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. I’ve been grateful to continue learning and earning a Diploma in the Skills of Learning and Acting Upon the Quran, participating in Prophetic Pedagogy Professional Development Workshops, and receiving certifications in Building Arabic Language Foundations. I’ve also benefited from various courses and seminars in Tafseer methodology, Quranic Arabic, and instructional strategies. With over 20 years of teaching experience, most of it within Islamic education, Alhamdulillah,I currently serve as a Quranic Studies teacher at Universal Academy of Pittsburgh, full time Islamic school
